You own it.
Every photo, every story, and the page itself belong to your family — not to us.
Why this exists
I built the first one of these for my own family. When it came time to say goodbye, what we were handed — what most families are handed — was a rushed slideshow, put together in an afternoon, played once at the service, and then left to gather dust on a USB stick in a drawer.
I couldn't accept that. A life is worth more than that. So I built something else — a real, directed film, and a family page that keeps growing long after the service is over, at its own address, for as long as the family wants it kept.
— Jonathan Ellis, Founder
What we believe
Every photo, every story, and the page itself belong to your family — not to us.
No ads, no data sold, and nothing your family shares is ever used to train anything.
The film is built from your actual photographs and the stories told in your own family's words — never a template standing in for a life.
The memorial lives at its own web address for as long as the family wants it kept — never quietly archived, never taken down.
The team
isalwayswith.me is small on purpose. Everyone below is personally involved in the work.
Memory and quality guru
Founder & Creator
Jonathan built the first one of these for his own family, and couldn't accept that what families are usually handed is a rushed slideshow on a USB stick that gets watched once. He's the one who decides whether a film is good enough to hand to a family.
Memory and quality guru
Co-founder & Owner
AJ is the other half of the standard. She watches every film the way a family member would, rather than the way a maker does — which is why things get changed.
The wizard
VP of Technology
Jacob makes the hard parts invisible — photos that just work, faces recognised right on the family's own page, a film that comes together without anyone babysitting it.
The Einstein of EQ
VP of Growth
Matt sits with funeral directors and with families, and listens. Growth here is measured in families who end up with something worth keeping.
How the rest gets done
isalwayswith.me is deliberately small and senior. The founders are personally on every memorial — that's why nothing gets lost.
Getting every family onboarded, and the finished film to the service on time, in whatever format the chapel can play.
Partner funeral homes are paid on every film, with no invoices to chase and nothing left carried on anyone's books.
The directing, the music, and the final film — shaped by hand for every family, not assembled from a template.
Roles we're growing into
Operations, Finance, and Film Production are positions we're actively growing into. If that sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you at [email protected].
